On a humid, but blessfully rain-free evening, Ana, Bryn, and John provided our crowd with an evening rich with music.  Featuring her own music from the past 15 years, she also offered two covers. Accolades were many -- superb musicians! great songwriter! talented band!  one of the best!  bring them back -- soon!  We truly enjoyed the performance.

Ana Egge is a singer-songwriter who just recently released her seventh album, Bad Blood, produced by Steve Earle.  These songs are filled with stories she’s gleaned from years on the road. She has toured and shared the stage with Lucinda Williams, Ralph Stanley, John Prine, Ron Sexsmith, Shawn Colvin, Joan Armatrading, Iris Dement, Richard Thompson, George Jones, and many more.

We've seen Ana perform -- and the experience is powerful.  She is an accomplished musician -- playing her guitars with grace and power.  She crosses genre boundaries -- listen to "Driving With No Hands" and you will feel the rock and roll intensity -- reminding you of Lucinda Williams, who, by the way, says “Ana's an exceptional songwriter, listen to the lyrics...the folk Nina Simone!” _ Shawn Colvin says that “Ana has the rare gift of being so eloquent and simple that she takes your breath away.
